ADOPTER OR FOSTER URGENTLY NEEDED: I'm a beautiful short haired, dramatically multi-colored tortoisehell kity - and I've got a special problem that makes me very sad: I just want a regular home with a family to call my own . . . but a blood test is causing trouble. Maybe I won't have a very long life, (nobody can really know) but I'm happy and healthy now, and I want to enjoy it for as long as I can! I look and act totally normal. However, my 4 kittens and I have tested positive for FeLV - feline leukemia. Many times, that result on a blood test means an automatic death sentence . . . but since I'm healthy NOW, that doesn't make much sense. Because the virus is contagious, I need to have a home either as an only kitty without any other cats or with other leukemia kitties - wouldn't it be wonderful if I could be adopted along with one of my kittens, also FeLV+ - LEROY or LUCAS or LOGAN or LACY???? We'll be so happy to get out of the isolation area at the vet's office, which is where we currently are.
